Hey folks. I built this joystick to try out a few new things. Mainly the new control panel shape and the blue plastic laminate. I'll let the pics do most of the talking but here's some info on it:
-Happ Competition buttons and joystick
-3/4" baltic birch plywood construction for the body; this makes it very lightweight and durable
-The top is 5/8" MDF with 1/8" Lexan and 3/4" black t-molding around it
-There are 4 non slip rubber feet on the bottom
-The pad hack is a sony digital PS1 pad
-There is blue formica plastic laminate covering the main body.
-The bottom is 1/4" Masonite
Here's the link to the auction. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=007&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=170109703110&rd=1&rd=1)
If a BYOAC'er gets it shipping is free. Likewise if buy it now is used I'll knock $15 off. Feel free to PM or post any questions.

HOLY COW! That thing is nice. That looks like a commercial offering, only there isnt a custom commercial product available with that quality & style.

Thanks. I built it mainly to try a few new things. Mainly the new control panel shape, the baltic birch construction and the blue plastic laminate.
I have a couple more like it I'll be finishing soon.

SHARP!
I like the neat wiring job too. Those wiring blocks are the only way to go.
Please link to the others you're working on.

You need to get that site up and going. I'd be really interested in seeing more of your work and what you charge traditionally for a custom stick like that. Good looking item, I just dont care for the theme. lol

That's pretty slick. I don't like the artwork too much but that's definatley well built.

Even though 2 of the 3 characters in the art are in your avatar picture?

I didn't spend too much time on the artwork. I wasn't sure what to put so I just chose the three main characters I use. :dunno
I also wasn't sure at first if I was going to sell this one.

Where do you attach the router? :)

Congrats to who ever won. I put in a bid but didn't win it.
