Title: LED Wiz Mala plugin help.
Post by: Grinch on May 06, 2007, 06:25:47 am
Hi, all.

Need some help setting up my LED Wiz. I've just spent a bit of time going through my favorate game list and setting up some cfg's for each rom that only light the buttons used in that game.

On the Mala gameslist I have all LED's set to ramp, but now when I scroll through the gameslist it loads up the game cfg for whatever game is selected.

Is there a way to stop the game cfg's loading so I can have my LED's ramp all the time whil browsing my game list?

Thanks :)

OK The Config you sent means that the LEDS will always be ramping.

So you want all the LEDS to ramp while selecting games..
Do you mean
1) ALL LEDS RAMPED ...or
2) ALL LEDS FOR THE SELECTED GAME RAMPED

...  But when you launch a game you want the appropriate buttons lit (not ramped).. Is that right?

While in Mala and selecting the game I want to have all the LED's ramping. While in a game I only want the buttons that are used to be lit (no effects), and for a game that has no CFG file for all LED's to be on.

Is it possible?

Not with the current plug-in..

It should not be very hard to do that for you but you would have to be willing to beta test.

LEDBlinky can do this.

I decided to add this feature for V2.5.   ;)

* Ignore custom game configs while in game list

Don't forget about adding the 49th intensity level (Instead of just 48)  ;D

Yep V 2.5 will have that as it uses Mike's Dll.    ;D

May still realease a OCX version too..   :dunno

Remind me, why do we need a level 49..?

I would allow 49.  This was an error on my part when I made the control panel.  49 is ON, while 48 is still PWM.  The duty cycle is very high at 48, so there is no visible difference, but those who want to run relays or other similar devices (like the SlikStik color cycling joystick knobs) from the LED-Wiz need to use 49 to ensure proper operation.
