I finally got my new computer running today and wanted to try it on the monitor. Got the arcadevga plugged in, AC filter and iso transformer set up. I turn everything on and the monitor doesn't power up. Before I took the cabinet apart I powered everything on so I know it all works. I don't understand what the problem here is. What could some issues be so I have something to start researching. I'm pretty clueless here.

I'd like to try and help but I'm not sure what your full situation is. Maybe I haven't read some of your other posts. Sounds like you're doing a cab conversion? Could you provide some more information?

Check the voltage coming into the monitor first to see if it's actually getting power.
After you determine that, let us know what kind of monitor it is.

Peale - It's a standard 26" KTM-26 Kortek. I'd like to be able to test voltage but I might not be able to buy the equipment right now.
Chris- I'm converting a Jamma cab into a PC. I removed all of the Jamma gear and wires so all I'm left with are the 2 power wires going to the monitor and 2 wires from the switch on the back of the cab.
I'll try to break down how it's wired starting with the AC filter. From the AC filter there's one blue wire leading into the fuse and one brown wire leading into E on the Iso transformer. From the fuse there's a white wire leading into the terminal strip. Now, from the Iso transformer there's two black wires only for the monitor leading into the terminal strip from OV and 115v 1amp. At the bottom of the Iso transformer there's 2 white wires from OV and 115v 60hz leading into the terminal strip. The 115v 60hz white wire also shares a block on the terminal with the other white wire from the fuse. Those white wires lead out and connect to the on/off switch for the back of the cab.
I'm not an electrical savvy guy but this all seems straight forward and simple. Things seem connected so I have to move to the board and assume that I've connected something there incorrectly. I had labled all of the connectors before removing them from the board so I'm 100% sure they're in the right place but I have a concern that some might not be oriented correctly. I've tried turning the AC connector around but it still didn't power up. I'll try to get a voltage meter soon but I was hoping there would be something else I could check in the meantime.

If you don't have a multimeter you can test with a light. Just jump a couple test leads with some wire to the outlet plug of a lamp. If it lights, you've got power.

Couldn't fully follow your description of your wiring. Did not sound complete but not sure where all the connections are on the TB and how the door switch is wired. Maybe this diagram will help you.

That chart helps a lot. I can tell you what's different on mine.
1. The A/C plug goes directly into the filter.
2. The fuse comes after the filter. The filter goes into the fuse and the out of the fuse goes into the AC on/off switch.
From the chart I'm thinking that the output from the filter going directly into the distribution block, is in the wrong place. I don't remember exactly where it was before I took it out but I think I have it in the earth ground of the iso transformer. :-[ It was the only thing not hard wired or saudered and I didn't take a good picture of where it was before I unplugged it.
I'll try putting it in as per the chart and see what happens. Hoepfully I havn't damaged anything.

When I did this, I took pictures of the "before" state for this exact reason. :) If you're still stuck this evening, I can take a look at my setup and see if there's anything helpful I can come up with.
