I pieced this together the other day, and want to know what everyone thinks of it.
I'll clean up some of the lines later, but I just wanted to throw it out and get some feedback on the general design.

That's a lot of things going on in that marquee. You might want to tone down all the background artwork and definitely make the text bigger. Despite the name, it should be the focus of the marquee.

I'm just about done clicking on any link back to imageshack. What a horrible site.
I see what you tried to do with this marquee, but it just didn't work. What I would do is keep the background, and ditch all the foreground fight scenes. Make your font bigger and bring the light spread in so it surrounds the letters more. Make your letters as big as you can.

Too busy and too dark, you're better off choosing your 2 favourite fighting characters and having them at either end looking towards each other and much much brighter.

agreed all the foreground action is not necessary.... text needs to be bigger, background it too dark

It's a bit grainy, and that will only be magnified when printed. It's also not really formatted for the size of a typical marquee(unless your cab is extremely narrow). It'll either be stretched out to fit the width of your cab, or it'll have to be cropped to a wider angle, which will cut off the top and bottom characters, and magnify any image artifacts.
Maybe reduce the number of portraits down to two rows only(no one will miss the other characters not shown), enlarge the text and align it to the left side of the marquee, and let it take up 3/4's the length of the marquee. Then on the far right of the marquee in the unused space, pick to of your favourite characters and enlarge them way up and have them in a close action shot.
Here's a quick mockup of what I mean:
