Title: Will Mame run from a CD/DVD? Can you Autorun the FE?

Will Mame run from a DVD if the file structure is correct?

Or will the read only status cause problems?

Which version would be best for this if it will work?

I want to set up a DVD that will autorun, start joytokey and a FE. (oh suggestions on the FE?)

Mame should run from a dvd, you've just gotta remember to either set all of your cfg directories off of the dvd or have everything (and i do mean everything) setup right before you burn it.  Fes are the same way, most will run from a dvd but you have to have all the settings right first.
