Has anyone gotten a 19" plastic monitor bezel from Happ Controls? If so, do you remember how much the shipping was?
I seem to recall someone saying that Happ charged a ton of shipping for a marquee retainer because of its size, and of course the way their site is set up, you don't know how much shipping was until after the order is complete...

If I remember correctly, standard ground shipping for the last 19" bezel I ordered was around $10, but I haven't ordered one of those for quite a while.
I did just order another one of their gaming stools a week ago along with a load of buttons. Shipping total for that was $15.40 and they came in separate boxes.

Yeah me..that was ages ago..they charged me $37 total shiping for retainer and 19" bezel..man.. :-[
You really cant buy retainer or bezel elsewhere... :-\

The issue I remember a thread about was that the Bezels often come cracked or broken due to the shipping.
I picked mine up directly from Happ to save some $$ and to avoid this since they are local for me....

I think they must have changed their shipping boxes for those at some point. I too remember hearing stories of receiving damaged bezels, but I've ordered probably a dozen bezels in the past couple of years, both 27" & 19". I have never received a damaged bezel and they came in a pretty sturdy box. One time I remember the box arrived damaged and punctured, however the bezel inside was fine.

I ask because the new Happ office in South Carolina is a 2-1/2 hour drive for me, and I'm trying to decide if I should have it shipped or just go pick it up. With a 400 mile round trip, though, I'll probably spend $30 in gas and lunch going to pick it up....

it came in a box that was made for bezels so it was perfect.
No damage ! :)
If you are not order marque retainer then shiping might be fair..like $10 maybe?
But its always fun to visit new places..you know..I say drive down there.. ;)
