Title: Anyone have experience with the Hantarex Polo2 - 25 Inch SVGA?
Post by: eraserhead on April 15, 2003, 12:44:09 pm
looking to rid of my 25 inch neotec NT2502 vga monitor

this particular model appeared to be a suitable replacement for a 25 inch cab w/ universal mount
(640x480 just won't cut it anymore)

here's a link to a spec (if anyone is interested)
http://www.hantarex.com/assets/POLOs.pdf

can't get much in way of price from the company (as they're based in .IT and keep sending me to distributors in the US (who don't return calls or emails))

is this a sign of things to come?

feedback of any kind is certainly appreciated (as i'm sure this piece will run me ~1000 USD when it's all said and done)

price, available options, power connectors, and video out (i.e. 15 pin DSub or "other") are at the forefront of my concerns at the moment.

thanks in advance,

eraserhead

Did you ever get rid of the NT2502?  Can you answer any of these questions:

1.  Would it show dos mode screens (BIOS, startup, etc.).

2.  How did you run it (mode/software) and how did it look?

3.  How did it mount?  Shelf?  Could you email me a picture of the back of it? (alank2 AT earthlink.net)

Thanks a bunch,

Alan
