There was a thread somewhere that had a picture of this terminal block.
Someone had asked where to get them.
I found them at Lowes home improvement, in the electrical dept with the wiring terminals.

Somebody asked about them in my project thread, I don't know if that is where you saw it or not, but I responded that you can get them from Groovy Game Gear. I will say however that the ones I got from GGG had some stripped screws in them so I had to be creative with their use. The terminal strips and crimps were the only things I had any issues with from GGG, but they were really inexpensive and I made them work so I didn't mind. I imagine that the ones from Lowes are a fairly nice terminal strip, I have been happy with all my products from Ideal. I bet it cost a little more than Randy's though.

They aren't that rare. Radio Shack always has them. I think they classify them as a "European Style" terminal strips.
I thought these would be better over the traditional terminal strips, but if when using wire that's smaller than 20ga I had a harder time getting the wires pinned under the screw. It can be done by doubling up the wire, but the standard strips still are easier. I also had problems with screws stripping and I think a lot of it has to do with the soft nylon that these are made of. In the end I decided to stick to the old stand-bys:

I've used a lot of Ideal's stuff... it's good for light use, but if you're going to be using things a lot, like an RJ45 wall jack that gets cycled a lot, go with something better.

Haha, these things can be bought here on every streetcorner....they are intended for mains wiring. F.I. house installations here have non-stranded wires that come into a box (usualy in new homes set in the concrete). Than you get two or three terminals of a strip like that and wire up your light armature to it. Remeber that if you use stranded wire to tin them for best contact.
They used to be called "kroonsteen" )= "crownstone") here and most people still call them that way.....stange name....:D
They used to look more like this:

Personlay I use a pretty fancy terminal strip, mainly because sometimes these are "left over" from some work projects.
It's a mini-DIN rail. This one simply has only terminals on it. I only use this for power distribution now, although not much is connected to it yet :D

I get em all right here. (http://cgi.ebay.com/12-Screw-Euro-Strip-12-Screw_W0QQitemZ6016896601QQihZ009QQcategoryZ11644QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem) So far the cheapest I've found. This was a while ago but I bought 20 and the shipping was only $3.95.

I have used these to wire up AC to monitors and flourescent light fixtures in my cabinets. Also good for speakers and anywhere you would use a molex connector.
They are great, just cut off two or three terminals at a time and use them like a
"Lazy man's molex connector".
