I shop sometimes at this little outlet grocery which has randomly weird things. Like today .. a new in the box (assemble yourself) Golden Tee ... I forget what edition they called it.. but it was only $199, marked down from the previous $299 discount price.
I thought that was pretty cool ... the picture on the box shows a full cabinet, monitor and cp .. no, I didnt read the fine print on the box - I was just dashing in for something and had to be somewhere else.
Thought that was pretty cool though. The store is called Grocery Outlet here in Oregon .. sometimes called Rainbow other places.

Did you not ask them if it was the full sized arcade machine?

It sounds like it was the home edition arcade version as seen in Wal-Mart.

Not sure if it's good or bad...but the other mini home cabs have not gotten great reviews.

Yessir, mr. knave .. that is the picture on the box.
too bad the reviews are no good ... otoh .. maybe the cab and parts are worth the $199 price if you turn it into something else.
Much better than the walmart $450 price.

In order to make it a worthwhile game, you'd want to swap the trackball, and monitor at least...
You can almost build a mame cab just for Golden Tee for that much with budget parts and no art. :dunno
