Hello everyone, Has anyone installed a 25" monitor into an original midway cabinet before? Does it fit without sticking out of the back ? Also, once in, does the glass bezel graphics interfere with the playfield of the monitor ? I haven't seen any Ms Pac bezels online that are for 25" games. Thanks for your time, enjoy the great weather in the Northeast today, FINALLY! :)

Considering the original bezel is made for a monitor a half a foot smaller in size I think it's safe to say that it would impede your view.
In fact, the bezel is only 21" x 23".....

Wasn't there a 25" Galaxian? Did that use a different cabinet? Other than a slight design difference, a standard Galaxian/Pac-Man cabinet is about the same overall size as a Galaga/Ms. Pac-Man cabinet isn't it?
And yes, even if you did manage to shoehorn a 25" monitor in there, the bezel graphics would impede your view somewhat around the edges.

I think those Ms. Pacman/Galaga cabinets use 25". Too big for my liking.

Me too. The origional 19 inch has the most authentic feel imho.

Even if you do a new bezel, that monitor is too big for that cab. Get yourself a nice 20" LCD instead. (not widescreen) You'll thank me later. And your back will still work after installing the new monitor...

A Pac cab is very light compared to most... a 25" may make it top heavy.

My Galaga (scratch built) has a 25", works just fine, though I made design tweaks to make it work better.

Did you build it from ply or mdf? I have an empty pac cab in my shed that I can pick up and walk off with it's so light.
