Well,
Looks like Betson doesn't make a 19" multi sync monitor. Is my only choice the D9500? If so are they still having problems?
-
Billabs Does:

Whoa...I see that Billlabs now has a 24.8 multisync too?!? Anyone know more about this (price, is it digital, etc)? When you click on it it brings up a 27" multisync image though. I'm guessing it's not digital because the 27" version has a board with all the adjustment pots on it.
"BL24C90T

CGA/EGA/VGA Tri-Resolution V-Freq. 47~70 Hz

Betson - 24.8" multisync flatscreen $ 359.95
27" digital multisync $ 369.95

Did you mean to type Billlabs? Or does Betson have one too? :dizzy:
Any idea if it's digital (ie. remembers settings between resolutions) or analog (pots required to manually change settings)?

http://www.betson.com
Click the 27"monitor on main page, then go to show specials, lower left, monitors on last page of sale flier.
-
LOL, it always amazes me when companies don't bother to properly advertise their stock on a website. That monitor isn't even listed under their normal 'monitors' link, but buried in some obscure 'ASI Specials 07' link to a PDF file.

Cool that Bilabs has a 19"
What is the difference between the BL19C91t and BL19BC1t? Is it a digital monitor. Can it do 800x600 there isn't much info on the site.
-
Okay, I got the skinny from Bilabs - If they are correct.
The BL19C91t is an analog Multisync Monitor and doesn't support 800 x 600 resolution even in interlace
The BL19BC1t is a digital monitor but does not support CGA or EGA resolutions. only VGA and SVGA
So...does this mean that the WG 9500 is my only option to have a 19" multisync monitor that supports 800x600 resolution?
-
can't rick at nieman displays help you out with a custom build?
-
I don't really know anything about Neiman. Are the D9500s supposed to be really bad?
-
I think most of the bad press around here was with the D9200. I personally haven't heard many people say anything about the newer WG models. If a 19" digital multisync is really what you need, and WG has a warranty of at least a year, I would probably try it out. I think most of the D9200 failures were pretty soon after purchase.

Thank you

i don't know about the new wg monitors,we stopped using them in the u.k after all the problems with u5000
if they are giving a 1 year warranty and its what you want then its worth a punt
