Title: 1.3 ghz and Mortal Kombat's
Post by: Hawk Daddy on April 16, 2007, 08:38:23 pm
Basically I need to know if a 1.3 ghz 256 mb ram, run mortal kombat the first one, and aybe mortal kombat II, i doubt that it can run 3 and 4.  But I just want to make sure that it will run mortal kombat 1.

Yeah - it'll run those as long as you use a lower version of mame.

Thanks man.  What version would you suggest, and will it run them all or just 1 and 2?

Hawk

The first available version that runs them properly. I'm not sure when those 2 were introduced, but it wouldn't take much research to find out.

It would probably run MK3 alright. To give you an idea, using a version of Mame in the .55 - .61 range, I had a 733 mHz Celeron that ran MK1 and MK2 fine, and would run MK3 but with noticeable slowdown (though still somewhat playable). When I got an Athlon 1800+ (1.54 gHz), it ran MK3 with no problems.
