Stoped by a guys place today with a Dragons lair Anaversary edition and a Mario Brothers for sale...
Not sure what I should try for. I want a deal but don't want to insult him. The mario has seen better days, the art is fine but the cab is cracked and crushed in a four inch strip under the t-moulding on the front. Game played ok but there is some screen flicker, where it jumps around a bit. It's still playable but I'm not that into Mario Bros anyway. I think he wants ~300 for it But I'm sure I could talk him down some. I can't see paying more than $100 for it. Am I just a crazy lout who has no appreciation for the classics?
The Dragons lair is pretty cool though, seemed pretty new. It has DLII and space ace as well.
I got him to say that the MB needs a cap kit and that he'd probbably let them both go for $600.
I don't know...Should I just shut up and take them home?...I'll probably offer $550 tomorrow and if someone beats me to it so be it.
What should offer?

If it's in nice condition I'd snap that Dragon's Lair up so fast it'd make your head spin.

I second that. I'd pay $600 for a decent shape DL any day....

Dragons Lair Anniversary Edition
Is this in a dedicated cabinet?
When were these put out?
(I'm curious for my own sake more than anything)

I think this is the new(er) released version that doesn't use a laserdisk. It uses a HD or solid state or whatever.
No comments on the beat up Mario?
What about a Neo-geo 3 slot in good cond? What's that worth?
