Title: How do I change the res when I can't see the screen?
Post by: Apollo on April 15, 2007, 06:45:32 pm
Ok so I have accidentally picked some weird resolution using the arcadevga set up that my pc monitor can't handle (at least I think that's the problem). How do I change it back when I can't see anything on the the screen, I'm getting the 'no signal' error message on the screen. It was working fine, I messed with the resolution accidentally (you know, the little galaga icon in the task bar) and now nothing.

What OS are you running? (Win98, XP, etc)

While it's booting up hit the F8 key (if I remember correctly F8 is the common one) to try and get into the menu that allows you to choose "Last Known Good Configuration"....or something to that effect.
Or "Safe Mode" as mentioned before from that same menu.
