I was browsing around on eBay when I spotted an auction for a CGA to VGA adapter board from starlite.com (http://www.starlite.com) for about $90. Checked out the site and it's massively annoying, that chasing text just pisses me off. :timebomb:
Anyone heard of him or this site before?

Anybody actually have an opinion at all on it? Anybody actually try his scan converters? $90 for a converter doesn't strike me as bad... not sure if I want to spend that kind of money if I'm trying to deal with more than one cab.
I notice he blanked out the IC's on his boards in his photos. Im guessing he's using stock components, that's kind of interesting. Even more interesting is that on the site, he's applied for patents for the CGA to VGA and VGA to CGA converters.

I got a converter that looks identical to that one for about $50 off of ebay once. Would have probably bought that one had I not seen the other. The one I have is probably inferior, but it looks the same. It's a converter you almost need to run jamma games in a naomi cab.
I saw one from someone else once that was a bit cheaper, but can't remember who it was that was selling them.
