Title: installing a new arcade monitor
Post by: chris79 on April 12, 2007, 02:17:18 pm
I own an original galaga cocktail game with the orginial monitor I'm thinking about replacing it with a brand new monitor.  There is a website that sells galaga parts including a monitor for 329.  However I can get the same monitor stright from the manufactor for 230 (Wells Gardner) The guy that sells the monitor for 329 says his is fitted to fit right into your cabinet so i'm wondering if I buy the monitor stright from Wells Gardner would there be any problems or extra connectors  involved in installing it?

you must take into consideration connectors, fixings and voltage supply.
if you are a good tech you can fit any cga monitor with the correct size tube into your cab but if you are a novice then paying the extra money may be a wise choice if it just slots right in without trouble
