Title: Wells Gardner model 25k7193 -> horizontal position problems
Post by: dldogg on April 05, 2007, 10:47:07 am
 :banghead:

Okay, I'm having a problem with my Wells Gardner model  25k7193 arcade monitor from an original X-MEN VS. STREETFIGHTER cabinate.

The problem is this: When I hook up my computer directly to the board it displays two desktops side by side. With the resolution at 600 x 480 60Hz

I have tried several combinations of screen resolutions (i.e. 300 x 200)  and still no results.
Also horizontal position adjustment on board only adjusts where it splits the two images. I am always left with a 2" gap between them.

Is this a result of setting it to 600 X 480 60Hz?
Could this some how damage my monitor?
What is the best way to fix this problem so I can run my CPS-2 games from Mame?
Would Ultimarc's ArcadeVGA fix this?

:notworthy: Thanks for any help.  :notworthy:

That's easy; you're feeding a 31KHz signal to a monitor that's expecting 15KHz.
