Title: will an amd xp 3200 2.0ghz run all mame games?

i will also have a gig of ram.

including the mortal kombats?

i've never seen tekken/ridge racer or cruisin usa run smooth, is this just the emulation or do you need really beefy hardware?

some games won't run right for awhile.  MK will be fine

Nope, mame is doing it's job fine. PC's aren't fast enough yet.
