Pre-1.6 models can be made to output VGA with a cheap homemade adapter. That's a significant advantage IMHO.

That one I agree with, though I wonder how much better VGA really is than upconverted 720p from XBMC.

Will it looks as good as the Neoya X2VGA adapter?

no the tsop has flash protection.

also no place for the ram upgrade.

linux will not display correctly on a standard tv becuase the video chip either.

Pickup zip 11706 for $80 cash in hand or $100 shipped .  Hell I just peeled the clear plastic off the front. I myself have used it for about a total of 4 hours. Reason I am selling it is because I get light headed playing medal of honor. Looks like I am back to the good old 8-16 bit games..

good luck on the sale i knwo what you mean about newer games causing issues if i play 1st person shooters to long i get sick started back when decent was released damn 360 dig veiws lol

Im always in market for another system but I get them locally for 40 to 50

is why i have 3 xboxs   paid 80 for one unopened   is why I dont understand why they go so high on ebay these days shrugs lookign for a motherboard for one that i have that gets to hot
