Title: PC Wheel Settings for MAME

How can I use a PC Wheel for MAME?  I was trying to play APB and the car just spins in circles.  Is there a general set-up for the whell for all games?

no. Each game requires it's on sensitivity settings - you can find these by hitting TAB while in game.

Also - you might want to tell us what you did as far as setting up controls and what exactly you mean by spin in circles.

just a standard PC wheel (USB).  I can only turn the wheel one direction.  The wheel does not act like it should, ie left for left and right for right

If I remember correctly APB has a continuously rotating wheel which is effectively a spinner (mouse) control and not a pot based 270 degree wheel.... You may not easily be able to get a pot based wheel to work with it.

Somebody else may be able to confirm this for you.

Right on Fozzy  The PC wheel will not work in APB.  It needs a 360 degree wheel or spinner.
