Hi,
I loaded Mala and the LED Wiz plugin, I ran the configurator for the LED Wiz and set up the LED's but when I run MALA nothing happens. I went to the options screen and can see the LED Wiz plugin loaded but nothing lights ups. I can see the buttons light up in the LED Wiz configuration application and I saved it as the main MAME file so it created the ledwiz.cfg in the plugins folder.
Also, the install notes say there should be a DOCS folder in the installer but I can't seem to see that getting created anywhere when I install the LED Wiz plugin.
THanks,
Bob

G'day ;D
Do you have the files (the cfg and the mplugin file) in the plugins folder like the attached pic?
And if so does the ledwiz plug-in show up on the list in MaLa options-event plugins?

Loadman - I am on my cell phoen so cannot access Mala right now.. hehe.. But can you also show a screenshot to ensure that the gamelist event (GUI Exceptions) is enabled.

You only need the 'gamelist event (GUI Exceptions) is enabled' if you want the LEDS to change when you scroll 'on the fly'. The leds should light up in any case.

Here are the screen shots of my setup, they look very similar to what yours shows. The LED's will light up in the configuration too, just not when MALA is running. Is there something I am failing to turn on?
Thank you,
Bob

orbian:
(1) In the ledwiz configurator, check your global options tab. be sure you have the following enabled:
- Light Coins, Light Start Buttons, Light Control Buttons, Light Controllers.
(2) In Mala, go to options... Then click on the plugins tab. Do you see the LedWiz plugin there?
-
Yeah, I tried all that and still no joy. :( I know the LED's and the LED Wiz controller works because the configurator lights them corrently, it's just when running MALA I don't see any response. I must be missing something... I just can't seem to figure out what it is.
Thanks,
Bob

are you double clicking on mala.exe? or do you have a shortcut? what happens when you launch a game? anything light up? speech?
-
Yes I am double clicking the MALA.exe in the install directory. There are no flashes or anything. No speach (not sure I even have that set up). Ga,es and everythign start OK, just no lights.
Thanks,
Bob

In your pic your ledwiz.cfg is only 1kb in size. That seems a little small.
Can you have a look a that?
