It looks like you might wish that they were going to pay you, rather than just give you free tickets after seeing the movie. It's getting awful reviews.

Meh. It's an excuse to get out of the house, and if it sucks, you can thank Best Buy for helping you to avoid shelling out the money and being mad at yourself for money that could be better spent elsewhere.

I don't need an excuse to leave my house.

cool a cheapskate like me likes free stuff....

I would never go see a movie with an oxymoron in the title. ;D

I guess I can see that. I just really like movies, and I see so few of them that I am really selective. When I have the rare opportunity to go to the theater, I'd rather pay $15 to see something I really want to see, than spend two hours watching something that will make me think of other things I could have spent that time on.
It's not that I would never watch the movie. It's just that I rarely get to go out. What free time I have is like gold to me. If I had more time I might be somewhat less selective.

I went with the wife to see it. It isn't as bad as some movies I have seen but it isn't a great movie either. I actually thought Nick Nolte did a pretty good job. It was VERY predictable you knew EXACTLY how it was going to end about a fourth of the way in. Like I said, I have seen worse and it wasn't a COMPLETE waste of time but I am very glad I didn't pay for it.
Had I been thinking, I would have used another set of free passes to get into Shooter the next day. ;) But, that one WAS worth the price of admission. I really liked that movie. I will be buying that when it comes out. Of course, I like those kind of movies but still. It was well done and good action.
Kinda funny actually. We haven't seen a movie in the theater for about two years and now we have seen two in two days. Thanks for the heads up on the freebie. Mission and I like those kinds of things.
