Title: Removable Control Panels
Post by: SavannahLion on March 27, 2007, 10:45:54 pm
I've seen a lot of examples of FrankenPanels and I've seen more than a few examples (Doc) of modular designs, and some really really nice simple panels (Knieval) but what about entire removable panels? eg, a 2P6B panel entirely swapped out for say... a 3P (randomly chosen game) Off-Road style panel? I realize the storage issues involved, but are there example cabs of such a thing?

Been browsing the projects list but I haven't spotted any.

Nice... and thanks.

That page raises more questions though. Like does Ponyboy still sell those leaf microswitches (http://www.mameworld.net/massive/NEWMAMEY/mod.htm) and are they any good?

Nevermind, each one of those pics is a clicky.

MameMaster! has ten swappable control panels for his cabinet.

Thread for module #10 (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=64781.msg649358).

I'm in the process of doing something similar. ATM I've got zero control panels functioning. :(

At this point he is going to need a cabinet to store his control panels.  :laugh2:
