Hi all,
I'm looking to buy a 25" monitor for an empty Mortal Kombat Dyn. cab I have. I've had two 19" Wells Gardners go out on me in the past and after reading Ken's post, don't seem too keen on buying one from them <---price being the original reason.
Anywho, I've been out of the Arcade Loop for awhile and was wondering how many different options and companies I can choose from that make Arcade monitors. Not looking for anything fancy (Flat panel) just a nice fat CRT.
The only ones I can think of are Wei-ya and 8liners. If anyone can offer me some experiences or suggestions for a new monitor I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, - Joe :)

You could get a nieman monitor http://niemandisplays.com/ (http://niemandisplays.com/)
Some people seem to have had good luck with their 24.8 multisync and the owner of Nieman posts here and answers questions on occasion.
Here is a thread where it is reviewed:

Hi Gi Joe, just curious, how did you make out??
I have been trying to find the time to do a mame cabinet.
I also have a mortal cabinet, just got the Ultrimarc Video Card, JPac and Opac.
Bought a used PC 2.66 ghz P4 ($220 Canadian) a 250 Ghz harddrive.
Sort of sucks because I hit a bit of a wall, my windows XP OEM version refuses to install.
I will figure that out later.
We will rip out the existing monitor and install our 24.8" tri-res.
I have a couple of buddies also about to do similar, one will use a 32" or 39" cabinet with our tri-res and run front end at 640X480. The other will use a Mortal Combat again our tri-res and run front end at 640X480.
Good luck with your project

I just had a new 19" monitor installed in my Ms Pac Man from a local repairer for $300 installed. I'm not sure of the brand but can check the machine tonight if you'd like.
