Title: Which ROUTER , UK
Post by: langdoguk on March 26, 2007, 07:05:13 am
Hi there , I'm just about to start building a cab and it looks like I'll need to buy a router , are the cheaper ones ( red devil ,etc ) okay for a first one , I think it will just be for cp and T-molding , would they do the trick , also seen this one :http://www.toolstation.com/?r=k&feature=49586 .
In my price range  ;D
argos , B & Q have ones for about £35 , are they any good ?
Total woodwork novice here , so any help would be great

Ive used a Black and decker to cut my cocktail out and that was fine.

I borowed that one but i'm getting one from Wickes for my B'day. £24 ish at the moment as there is 20% off. 1200w.

It's like this one but grey i think. It's in the current catalogue you pickup from store.http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/186883&bklist= (http://www.wickes.co.uk/invt/186883&bklist=)

I'll let you know in a couple of weeks if it's any good but it looks more or less the same as the B&D one i have been using.

I am getting it to do the T moulding next.
