Hey all, long time listener, 3rd time caller.
I'm constructing a new cabinet cuz the old one is just too sloppy for my taste. So on those days where I couldn't move forward I would grab my old buddy photoshop and work on this new side. Hope you all like it. Any suggestions??
Characters are from:

Thats great. Nice and clean design.

That's a cool combo of characters ;D. I really like it, but I'd do away with the bottom line (multiple game..). Again, that's just my opinion, but I think it looks better just saying 'trebeck's arcade.' Just my preference. Nice work either way.

Your picture and "Arcade" text are great for simplicity and better bang for your buck..
I personally wouldn't use the mame text underneath, but that's more because I wouldn't put any mentions of the word "emulator" on my cab, since I feel it destroys the experience.. from a purely image standpoint it's fine... it doesnt steal focus from anything and it's not too big or not too small..
The word "trebeck's" suffers in my opinion, though. For ideally what is supposed to the second most important word on your art (the first powerful obviously being "Arcade"), it's tiny and in a very thin font... . I can see you want to go with a script font angled, which is a nice effect, but I would definitely use a thicker font to give the text some more punch so it doesn't dissappear entirely, which is what it does now...
you can look through some great fonts at http://www.dafont.com (http://www.dafont.com)
Nice clean work all around, though.. Good Job

Very nice work dude :)
I like the blue glow but I would make the mirror effect more visible.....just my2cts

Thanks guys,
Those are very good suggestions and I'm going to include them in the next version. I will upload it in the next few days.

Hey wildcat I was looking on your webpage and saw your streetfighter side art. Do you mind me asking the dimensions of it, and do you still have the file? I was just curious as it matches the control panel timoe built for me and was curious if had it available anywhere. Here is my control panel:

Hey Stephen
Yah the side art (Bison & Akuma) was 17X20. I do have the file but it was done in Photoshop and is a heafty 75mb. However, the original characters were done by Frosilicus over at:

They were done in Illustrator so you can blow them up to any size you want. Also, I made a mistake in making that side art too wide. I had to trim it because of the "inner elbow" of the side panels.
Hope this helps ya

Thanks for the info. I did mine in illustrator as well. I might try to do something up when I have time.

I think it looks sweet! Very inspirational... now if only I were an artist. :)
I wouldn't have come up with them, but I agree with the suggestions above.

Here's the updated version.
I think it works better without the words on the bottom. Besides, MAME isn't mentioned anywhere anyway. I really wanted to stick pacman fruit somewhere but I can't seem to get it right! Maybe on the marquee?

Well it looks like you improved on the color of the Arcade text... it looks great!
I still think the word "Trebeck's" is a bit small and insignificant, though

Zorg you made those?
