Title: Nintendo conversion kit?

I recently bought a Ms pac cab that has been converted a few times. When I picked it up, I saw that it had a metal plate on the back that says "NINTENDO CONVERSION KIT MODEL MGS-PM". Does this refer to a certain game?

Hmm perhaps it might be the monitor?  If it's a nintendo monitor then it's inverse sync and you might have issues with it.

The monitor is a WG 19k7201. Not sure if that was made for Nintendo, but I am having a terrible time with it.  How would I inverse the sync? There's only one synce wire going to two different sync pins, but that is best left to the monitor forum...

If it's a real Ms. Pac cabinet, at one time Nintendo made a special version of their "Vs. Unisystem" conversions to fit Pac & Ms. Pac cabinets.. It came with a metal nameplate to be attached above the back door next to the original Midway nameplate.

MGS-PM

MGS is the Nintendo tag designation for a "kit" - PM could very well stand for the fact that it was designed for the Pac-Man style cabs as Ken mentioned.

Thanks for all the help. The PM standing for Pac Man makes a lot of sense. The plate was next to a square of slightly off color paint, which is where I am assuming the original Midway plate was. Sadly the Midway plate is long gone. Probably taken off in one of several conversions...
