Title: Sears: Quart cans of Rustoleum Enamel: $1
Post by: TOK on March 22, 2007, 03:41:19 pm
Stopped at Sears today for a quart can of Satin Black Rustoleum enamel. Looks like they are going to stop carrying it in favor of their own brands and are selling it for 97 cents a quart (usually about $9). I bought both remaining remaining cans of Satin lack.

Worth looking at if you have a project coming up. This paint is nice from either a sprayer or foam roller.

I'll second that.  Rustoleum leaves a great finish for a consumer grade product, even if it is a little slow to dry.  I did a mini-cab made from MDF in a coat Kilz latex primer and one coat of red Rustoluem and was really impressed at the result.  1$ is a steal for the stuff.

Yea, I'm sure its a quart. I used a bit under 2 quarts to paint a 25" Dynamo.

Very cool, I can actually use this.  I'll have to check Sears and Sears Hardware when I'm home tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up.

You mean use rustoleum paint on bare MDF? What kind of finish does it leave?

No, not bare....you want to prime it with Kilz.
