Title: Resizing Backgrounds
Post by: Dave Wave on March 21, 2007, 10:57:49 am
I have a background that is 640x480 and want to resize it to something that is not interlaced on ArcadeVGA...what is the best way to do this and the best resolution to use?

Thanks,

Dave

It depends if you need to keep the aspect ratio or not.

but to resize a image personnaly i use a old Paint Shop Pro   and i resize it.

To have no interlacing , you have to choose a resolution where vertical is equal or below 288 pixel.

640x488 is good.   But the ratio could be strange for your background , it really depends on your image.

I use irfanview to resize alot of pics.  It is free and works very well as a viewer and for resizing and changing format.
