Maybe I'm missing the point, or I'm just confused...
Here's my question. I have a desktop with a wireless networking card as well as a wired ethernet card (not in use). Can I connect another computer (or Xbox 360) to the ethernet port on the compter that has the wireless connection so that it gets an internet connection as well? Would I just plug it in and add both connections to the bridge?
???

Just connect to your bridge or router. You can connect tor your PC but that requires extra work from your PC to support the connection. Thus the bridge or router is your best bet.

Well, my router is far away and I didn't want to spend $99 dollars on the Xbox 360 wireless adapter. :banghead: Plus I'm tired of tripping on the cable I have hooked to xbox 360 at the moment.

Yes... but it won't be that easy.
Get a crossover cable and setup your computer for Internet Connection Sharing. Then all you have to do is hope that it works since it'll be a double NAT.

Figured it out... and you don't need a crossover cable for the 360.
