I saw this Krull poster on Ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Arcade-Game-Poster-KRULL-Never-Displayed_W0QQitemZ320093093735QQcategoryZ13717QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) the other day, and I got pretty excited over it.
This poster is the exact same as the Krull side art. I figured I could buy it for 15 or 20 bucks. This poster was the only way I could feasibly see getting some good repros done for Krull side art. The side art on mine is a little bit to mucked for a repro worthy scan.
Now the bidding on this thing is up to $50 with 2 days left. WTF?! So, I was hoping somebody here was in on this bidding war, because then maybe it could still be scanned for some repros.

Steven Beall is the high bidder, I don't know if he's got an account here. He's a real nice guy. I bought a Xenophobe stick from him at a great price (I needed it for an engineering project and couldn't wait). He really saved my bacon as I was having trouble getting decent parts with my budget.

Well, good. I hope he wins. That is if he really is a nice guy, but I heard nice guys always finish last. :dunno

Check out the seller's other auctions. There's some vintage posters going for big bucks!

I saw that. It's crazy. I honestly thought I could get that Krull poster for $25 tops.

Maybe you should message him.

My hopes of getting his Pengo poster are dimming ... :(

Well, I guess it wasn't meant to be, a little over my budgeted amount :)

That was affordable compared to some of the others the seller had listed:

Joust: $359 :o
edit* Tron: $406.11!

The Krull went for:
Winning bid: US $170.50
Damn...

That all is money better spent on actual games.

Here's an interesting thread (http://forums.webmagic.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=428045&an=0&page=0#Post428045) on the KLOV message board regarding the reproduction of some of those posters.
