is it possiable to use a set of shielded speakers from happs and interface them with a set of powerd pc speakers
like these?http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121123?
basically just wire them up to run istead of the satillites speakers
has it been done befor or does anyone have any advice what i can use?

Might be easier to use the logitech satellites behind speaker cloth or grills, that way you are sure you have the impedance match and the controls are built into one of the satellites so you would have to do less reconstruction. You could still disassemble the satellites if required for easier mounting. The subwoofer would go in the base of your cab.

Check out this link to see if thats what you're trying to do. From the sounds of it you can get some good info from here.

The above listed link for a speaker hack works great. The Real Bob Roberts has arcade speakers and grills that are cheap and good. You can pick up a set of PC speakers for next to nothing. In all I think I spent like $15 for everything.

Based on your last, I'd suggest you go do some basic research into how speakers work, electrically, before you start.
-
I bought Bob's 5 watt 8 ohm speakers, and a set of cheap PC speakers ($25) and YES all I did was swap in the new speakers. Petty easy stuff.

I didn't see anything in the oscar article about matching ohms, so I figured they were the same - usually anything not car or instrument-related is - but it pays to make sure.

Those would work fine. If you want the gill, Bob Roberts sells them to match http://www.therealbobroberts.net/
What I did with the grill, because you could see the speaker still behind it, was take a pair of black stockings my girlfriend had already torn, and cut them to fit. I then glued them to the back of the grill and mounted it.
The speaker combo and PC set would work find. You can go even cheaper on the PC speaker set, if you can find it. I think I got mine on Ebay for $5.
