Title: Monitor Mounting

NOTE : Details about project, please read...

I have an older 19" Well Gardner Monitor that I wish to mount into a cabinet. I'm using a modified version of LuSiD's cabinet. I trimmed depth from 38" to 35" because I will be using a different style of control panel. Also, the width of the cabinet will be 24" instead of 26" as shown in the design. My Track & Field + Tempest cabinet are all about 23 3/4", so I assumed an even 24" will be better. I will be suing the monitor shelf instead of angle iron or similar for mounting the monitor. The only problem I have is the measurements. I have taken rough monitor measurements from the WG I have. I'm using this as a guide line. But I will need some help like a how-to-(mount / position)-monitor-correctly FAQ. If there is such a thing. I didn't see how the shelf was assembled in the design or on LuSiD's website. So I'm wondering what things I need to take into consideration when mounting the monitor and also, constructing / buying a bezel.

I take it your monitor is in a horizontal frame ? Cut your shelf a bit wider than your monitor width , { front to back } and make it the same inside width as your cabinet. Position your shelf inside cabinet where you want it , straight , tilted down in back ect. mark the bottom edge on cab. walls . Get some hardwood pieces , drill and fasten along lines. Put a piece on back of shelf to use as monitor stop. Mark holes in monitor frame, drill and fasten. Screw or bolt shelf to rails, { before monitor} I hope this helps I'm not familiar with your particular cabinet.
