It looks pretty good, but I'd prefer Xevious in a cabinet rather than a cocktail. Still, at the moment, it's a good price.
-
Surely that can't be an original Xevious cocktail? Why on earth would anyone put the vertical monitor in that direction so you have to sit on the side and have the 2nd player switch seats when their turn is up? :laugh2:

Oh wow, I didn't even notice that.

sorry guys, you have lost me. Wouldnt the screen flip for player 2 ????
-
Are you sure there is a control panel on the other side? There is no picture. And he mentions in the description: "All joysticks bar one are still present on the machine". So if the screen flipped player 2 would be playing upside down LOL.
-
i'll have to ask, if there was another set of on the other side would the creen flip so it would be just the same, like astroids and the like ? cheers
-
i just noticed something, if you look at the "inside left of machine pic" you will notice what looks to be the recess for the CP on both sides, i think this confirms a second player panel on the other side. maybe lol
-
well alas, i cant find any info on the game ever being a cocktail cab, anyone lese ???
Cheers

I couldn't either. That monitor sure looks tiny in the middle of that big table. As long as you aren't going to be disppointed if it turns out not to be 'original' as he claims, and if you're sure there is a set of controls for player 2, and if it's worth $275 AU to you, then get it! :)

Love Xevious, hate cocktails. I'd pass.
-
In my mind, part of the coolness of Xevious was the cabinet with all of the artwork. All of that is lost on this cocktail.

you guys are right, the screen looks tiny, ill wait till i find my all time fav cocktail,,,astroids
