Vendor's Exchange (www.veii.com) carries some Ardac parts. They can also give you the name of the vending operator who bought the majority of the remaining factory parts inventory (like hopper emitter LED's).

Money Controls from England bought out both Ardac and Coin Acceptor's Inc. (a.k.a. Coinco) back in 2000. They promptly closed Ardac and liquidated their assets (no competition that way) then they closed out the amusement and coin door divisions of Coinco to concentrate on bill acceptors and vending coin changers.

Ardac did have some good products over the years and invented the "tray style" bill acceptor in 1968. They built those tray acceptors for Seeburg, Rockola, and Wurlitzer jukeboxes and for Standard brand bill changers (their competitor!).

I do plan on getting some more of my Ardac documents scanned as I can find the room on my computer hard drive which is full.

Arcarc just posted my Ardac Bulk Loaded Changers owners manual. It covers the C series, L Series, and E Series.

Also Capital Vending and Warren Money Systems carries Ardac parts now.

I just sent the Ardac "C-series" changer service & parts manual. This is for the later C series with the one piece painted front door.

I will be getting around to scanning the C series service manual for the earlier models with the split "two piece" woodgrain vinyl covered front doors.

Edit:

Also sent the Ardac "MBA" bill acceptor manual in.

Ken-
I've got an Ardac A-9000 series changer.  I would like to mount a button to dispense 4 quarters.  Do you have any idea what wires to tap to send a signal to the hopper?  I've looked through the manual but there aren't any schematics in my manual.
Thanks for any help.

I've only heard of the A-9000, but never seen one or have any manuals on it.

Does it have a 'tray' style bill acceptor? If so is it the SSTR2 or the TNT series?

BTW, arcarc just posted more of the Ardac manuals I sent. I just emailed the "split-door" (two piece front door covered with woodgrain vending machine vinyl) last night. This manual has schematics of the hopper, bill acceptor, power supply, and internal cabinet wiring. I have tons more Ardac schematics from the 1970's and early 1980's, but they are huge blueprint size (some are actual blueprints!).

Anyway, if your bill acceptor is not a tray type, then I'd suggest calling the techs at Vendor's Exchange (www.veii.com) and ask them.

Just sent in some of the changer circuit board schematics, hopper schematics, and bill acceptor schematics. Also just submitted is the parts manual for the split door (two piece) changers.
