I would like to have a Touchscreen wallmounted jukebox which will be powered by an external source [my rig using mp3's], is there a way in which I can design/build my own? I would like an interface for the touchscreen to be similar to this one
http://djpower.com/JukeBoxMainScreen.htm
Any ideas please?

what?
You want a wallmount jukebox that outputs to a speaker system you already got? That right?
You know, these jukeboxes are powered by a computer right? Well, what I did with mine was use a RCA converter plugged into the sound card on the computer so I could plug it into my home theater.

Not exactly sure what you are lookig for. What I got is that you want the following:
1. Wallmount jukebox with touchscreen
2. When you say you want your rig external from the juke I get that you want to use your computer but not put it in the jukebox wallbox. It could also mean your amps and speakers are external.... Not clear on this
3. You want your screen to look like DJPower. With on screen keyboard and not sure of other features such as mixing.
I think you could do 1 and 2 if you used a second TS monitor on your PC and played the jukebox software on your main rig and only had the Touchscreen in your wall box. You would have to bring your sound to an amp an speakers. It would be simpler just to put a simple computer in your juke and just network the MP3 files. You are not saving anything by trying to use your regular computer as the one to operate your juke as well.
As for part 3 look at the wikki and choose a touchscreen program the comes close to what you want.

I use freeboxjukebox myself. If your interested click on this link and you can see the manual Ive been building for it. Im not the author of the app, but Im a following supporter. It does support touchscreen, but in the video I did its using a mouse so you can see where I was clicking. The mouse is hideable if you want it gone within the app.

SK Jukebox has touchscreen capability too .

Freebox supports videos and MP3+G, it has great touch screen support and is fully skinable. Self promotion rocks.... It's free to try.

Im are also allways recommered to look on the jukebox section in the wiki.
Arcade Music Box is (My own Jukebox App) is not a good chooise to this type of cab yet.

Yes the Wiki section has several screen shots of each jukebox. Im guessing any version you use would work with a touch screen or could be tweaked a little by changing the screen resolution to make it more touch screen user friendly.
