Picked up 3 games today. Probably will be my last haul for quite a while - our first baby is going to be here in just a few weeks! :)
Lets see who can guess the 3 games first. And please - no cheating!!! (this means any type of detective internet research!) :)

Nice haul! I wish I still had my truck. Soon you'll be like me, and just happy to get even one home in your new minivan. ;)
As for the games I have no clue.

dave!
(i figure if i guess dave long enough, im bound to be right one of these days ;D)
-
I'd guess the middle one is Mario Bros. conversion (blue/green CPO, white t-molding). The other two I have no idea.
-
Crystal Castles, Mario Bros. and I can't tell what the last one is.
-
I'd name them Larry, Curly and Moe.
-
Close! They are all dedicated, I couldn't expect anyone to guess which of the thousands of conversion kits there are out there.
That's right, it's a Crystal Castles, Mario Bros widebody, and the last one is a Bally Midway. Maybe that clue will help. :)

Sure did. Burgertime!!!

That's right!! :)
Got a pleasant surprise with one of these games. The BT came from a local arcade I used to go to, that has been closed for 20 years (or more!) The seller apparently didn't know this because he never mentioned it.

Very nice. All look in great shape.

too cruel--3 great finds. the side art on bt looks to be in excellent condition. actually, they all look pretty decent. congrats on the cabs (and on the baby)!
-
Boy they all look great! You should share the whole deal setup though. Very interesting trading I might say.
So when will the game room christening party be? ;D
-
Hehe, thanks guys! They all look pretty good, better than most of the games I pick up, but they all could use a little bit of polishing. These games also came with new overlays for the Mario Bros and Crystal Castles, though both already look quite good to be original!
Hey Adam, you know you're welcome to come play anytime. I have to warn you though, these 3 probably won't make it downstairs until the new gameroom is finished, which could be months! :( Maybe I can get that sheetrock up and painted, and get the games in, and worry about the drop ceiling later.
Doesn't anyone else think it's super cool that the Burgertime came from one of my childhood arcades? That was the best surprise of the whole deal, for me. :)

Hey Wade!
I hope you enjoy the games, I sure did while I had them. That was fun trying to get the Burgertime on the end of the Truck!
My son still doesn't forgive me for letting them go, so I'll have to buy some replacements in the future.

I assume these were restored by someone else (metahugh)? How else could they be in such fantastic shape is they saw arcade use from back in the day? Nice set of cabinets there! And yes, it totally rocks that you played on the BT when you were young.

I meant the ever-common DK/Jr/Popeye conversion to Mario Bros. I was thinking the widebody didn't use white t-molding. The pic on KLOV doesn't (not that that means much).
That's awesome to end up with a machine that you used to play.
Very nice score.

Yup, they were cleaned up by me. I didn't paint the Burgetime, just cleaned it up really good, put some new tmolding on and a new power cord.
The Crystal Castles was the most work, I put new art on the marquee and the speaker panel and repainted the red in the gems on the kick panel. Fixed the cabinet structure, built a new backdoor, capped the monitor and cleaned it up really good. Repaired the boardset (socketed some RAM essentially), put in a replacement RF Filter board and a new trackball. Refinished the coin door and PCB cage as well.
The MB was in the condition you see it in minus a new capkit and a good solid cleaning.

Oh yeah, lifting that BT was great fun. :) My dad and I had just as much fun trying to get it back out. Thanks for working this deal with me, this is probably been my single favorite load of games I've ever picked up.
Yeah, metahugh did some work on all the games. I wouldnt' call any of them full restorations, but they've been gone through, cleaned up, work properly, and all the monitors look really nice! Any of those things are pretty unusual in the games I usually buy. These were pretty nice games to begin with, I think. I will probably do a little more work on these games, but not much, and I'm really thankful for the work that he put into them. With the baby on the way, I might not have time to work on games like I used to!
What color is the MB molding on Klov? I can't see that site from work. I'm sure white is the original color on most that I've seen, and it is clearly original on this particular game.

White is the proper Tmolding color for Dedicated MBs.. the scan is tiny but you can see the white tmolding:
