Title: Pool table value
Post by: sfrascella on March 08, 2007, 01:39:17 pm
Anyone know anything about pool tables? I have one I would like to sell and want to put a fair price tag on it. It's a Spalding 8' table with a Slatron bed in good shape and will go with everything, balls, cue's, rack's and cover.

I paid $800.00 for it new about 8 years ago and just don't play it anymore and it's taking up valuable game room real estate.

So what's a good asking price for this?
Thank's

Take a couple good pictures and show them to a local pool table retailer - at least it would give you a ball park figure.

Put it on craigslist (with good pictures and description) for $800 and drop the price by $100 every couple weeks until someone buys it. That takes all the work out trying to figure out what it is worth, since someone will buy it once it is listed at a proper price.

I think you can buy Spauldings with Slatron for $300 at Wal-Mart.
