Title: starting FE in during startup problem in XP
Post by: govee on March 06, 2007, 12:37:04 pm
Just loaded TinyXP and my only real problem I have is I put Mamewah in the Startup folder and when windows is restarted mamewah starts but the controls are not recognized and the pass through for the keyboard is not working. I use a minipac. I have to put in a usb keyboard in an empty sub slot and escape mamewah then the passthrough and the controls work.
Could the startup of the FE be happening to quickly?

If so Can I delay it a few seconds?

Thanks

Sounds like Mamewah does not have "focus" when you are starting up. Possibly because of other program loading in the background during startup...

Try 1)

try changing the RUN property of the shortcut. By default it will be set to 'Normal Window' You can try setting it to 'Maximized'.

Right click the shortcut
Select Properties
Click Shortcut tab
Click the drop down for RUN

Or try 2)

Startup delayer program:
