I am about to drop a few bills on a couple hundred feet of 3 conductor 20 amp wire, some square D breakers, boxes, switches, outlets, ect and I was wondering where is the best place to buy this stuff. The lowes / home depot route is most convenient for me but I am wondering if I can get this stuff cheaper somewhere else. Online maybe?? I tried searching and really didn't find much. Any ideas???
Thanks!

If you go to the post office, they have a packet they give you if you are moving to a new house (you don't acutally have to be moving). It is supposed to have a 10% off coupon for lowes. Could be pretty valuable if you are buying a few hundred dollars worth of electrical stuff.

By my place, there are a few electrical contractor supply houses, and they will sell to the public no problem, it's just not advertised.

However, their prices will probably not be better than Lowes because you aren't buying in bulk.

Online:
W.W. Grainger Company
McMaster-Carr Company
Locally:
Platt Electric (wholesale limited to Washington state)

Ken beat me to it with Grainger and Mcmaster-Carr....
another one to check if you have locally is Graybar. I buy all kinds of line voltage and low voltage stuff from them, and they tend to have most things in stock (even some oddball stuff) or can get it pretty quickly.
Price wise, gonna be hard to beat Lowe's / Home Depot....
