Title: which version of mame to run with current set of roms

I have a set of 61 roms but i have upgraded my machine to tinyXP with a celeron d 340. I am going to get a newer set but in the mean time I want to get things going.

you would run mame .61 with .61 roms. Your mame version should match your rom version to avoid problems.
