OK i have a jamma cab that has been hacked to put a tv in it (now dead). Whats my best option ? a new tv or should i go for an arcade monitor.
I'm gona use a j-pac ,. do i need one of the 15hz video cards. the vid card i'd like to use is a tnt2u.
what do you guys suggest ?

Get another arcade monitor with the ArcadeVGA (www.ultimarc.com), if you can afford it. If not, any ati card with tv out and a decent tv is okay.

well my tnt2u has a good tv out (used to use it all the time) so i might go with that and a tv.
I cant afford the arcade vga ,. its just to much of an outlay when you add in the monitor as well.

if i buy a jpac can i then plug my normal vga into it or do i need an arcadevga card?

The J-Pac video only protects the aracade monitor from being damaged by too high of sync coming from a card. You need either the ArcadeVGA card, or run DOS with utilities to get a normal card to work with an arcade monitor.
