Title: putting Virtua Cop 2 monitor into Neo Geo game cabinet
Post by: ivanalpine on February 27, 2007, 06:46:31 pm
My monitor from Neo Geo game machine was broken. I was trying to put another monitor, which is Nanao MS8-26SU. This monitor, I was installing, were originally in the Virtua Cop cabinet.

After the installation, I turned the machine on. The picture displayed on the monitor becamce upside down.

My question is how to fix this problem. Is it possible to fix this problem.
Please help!

So all I need to do is to cut the connector coming out from the yoke in half.
After that I will turn each of the connnector around and plug them back into the main monitor board?

Would you confirm this?

Thanks

Thank you Kevin for pointing me to the place that explains how to correct the monitor.

My monitor now is displaying the right picture orientation.

most neo geo run in standard 15hkz mode and most nanao is set to 25hkz stock.

have you switched the plug on the chassis to convert it to 15khz if not I bet you would get an even better display as long as you did not cut into the harness already that is.
