Title: Black corner piece
Post by: SavannahLion on February 27, 2007, 12:42:08 pm
On some cabinets, such as the Simpsons 4-player cab, they have this small black corner piece on the front bottom. I assume it's either metal or vinyl. Anybody have any idea what this piece is called or better yet who might sell it? It's a pain trying to look up the part without knowing the name of it.

$5.50?! Oh well. Ebay it is.

It's funny, I've never noticed them before, until I started looking into building my own cab.

They're almost always metal and people usually don't put them on until the corner starts to crumble from being moved so many times.

www.tornadoterrys.com has em for $7.95 a pair though I'd use DM if his prices are similar (keep it in the forum).

Thanks for the heads up. I'm just trying to build the parts and price list right now.

I'm really itching to get my hands on the control components and a controller for the CP so I could build a prototype. I'm gunning for something different with my cab and some of the ideas I have, I've seen talked about or I haven't seen tried at all.

Cost is a MAJOR stumbling block at this point. I already owe $50 for a buy in and I haven't even costed that portion of the project yet. :(

That's on top of the other projects I've got on the burners, in the oven and the microwave  :dizzy:
