Title: This strikes me as odd....anyone else?

OK....I just recently ordered a lightgun from ACT LABS.

I haven't heard from them in awhile and haven't received a tracking number or anything (Ordered last monday). I sent them a message asking if they have a tracking number or something and got a response saying the order with US Customs as they are a Canadian company sending to the US and I will receive my tracking number when it is OK'ed from Customs.

I guess that made sense, until I started thinking about our good friend Andy over at Ultimarc. Last I checked he was in another country also, yet I received my parts from him three days after ordering them.

Has anyone else had a delay like this from ACT?

It probably has something to do with the fact that you ordered GUNS.  Something that looks like a WEAPON probably has to go through customs with all the anti-terrorist crap going on.   I don't think Andys jpac cards or ipac cards look remotely like a weapon.

ah, good point.

But that I-Pac would make one hell of a throwing star.... ;)
