I just got a used Bestech monitor, great shape... no burn... almost new...
Anyway, when I tap the frame, or the cabinet, the image wobbles a bit... does not lose tracking or hold, just kinda wobbles or shakes a bit...
The image looks nice and bright, like I said, the monitor looks brand new... just that darn wobbling... I am putting it in a Robotron cab, and the jerky joystick movements will make the image wobble unacceptable...
Has anybody run into this kind of problem???

Found the problem... It was the wire that goes from the chassis to the degaussing coil around the crt... there was some tension on it, and it must have been in just the right position to cause a disturbance whenever there was the slightest vibration...
Huib1 came over and we tried wiggling wires around on the chassis while I observed the image...he wiggles the wires and we found the one that caused the most disturbance... so he just moved it around... we don't really know exactly what he did, but the image is now stable... even when you bang the cabinet...
Score one for Huib1!!!
