Howdy-
On my MAME cabinet I'm setting up, I'll have essentially MAME & Daphne & almost nothing else.
I've got a SlikStik Quad that I'm upgrading. It has the I-PAC 4 in it.
I'd like to have a little application that will, upon a certain keypress (preferably one button, perhaps 2 simultaenous keypresses?) quit out of MAME & launch Daphne, or vice versa if pressed again.
Is there some sort of little application swapper or macro program that will map 1 key to do this?
I suppose I could put the MAME & Daphne applications in the Startup folder & then rig up a way to get an Alt-Tab keypress...
Thanks,

Well sure, you can do that but from what I'm understanding you are using the windows guis for those two emus then? It'd be a lot nicer looking if you'd just use a proper front end. So long as it supports multiple emulators adding daphne to a front-end's setup should be a no-brainer as it supports command line options and it'll even give you the proper command to use in the daphne loader if you check the box.

Yes, thanks--I failed to clarify. I am indeed planning on using MAME32 & Daphne. As I understand it, to use all my various USB peripherals & such, Windows (XP in my case) is the way to go. I've got an I-PAC4, Tornado Spinner, Apache push/pull spinner, Happ trackball, keyboard, USB light, 2 ACT light guns, & an analog PC joystick.
I'm only a mechanical engineer--I'm having fun building my control panel & cabinet, but the software & configuration aspects are a challenge to me--which is surely already clear... :)
Thanks,

I used Mamewah for this with ease.....
