Title: Display current game/info to 16x2 LCD???

Is it possible to create/download a program that would send the current game name, number of credits, etc to a 16x2 LCD panel attached to the parallel port on a computer?

something along these lines:

I think ArcadeOS can do that but I'm not sure.

The first one I know of was Silver's LCD gen (http://www.silverfoxy.plus.com/LCDGen.html)

Mamewah has had support for a while. (sorry no linkie)

Looks like AtomicFE can do it as well. (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=59294.0)  Need to look into this more to make sure.
