Ok, since I am not the artistic type I need some opinions
I have been putting together my parts for a 4 player control panel based on the UAII CP Plans.
I have the Electric Ice buttons and am now considering joysticks.
What I need opinions on is colors. What do you feel looks better four of the same color joysticks or a different color stick for each player?
Also I am not putting a spinner on the panel, is there any use for a second trackball or is that just too cluttered?
Thanks for the help
John

Personally with 4 players, I like to see all 4 joysticks at the same color (usually black) and just have the buttons different. As for the button colors for each player, I like blue, red, green, and orange.
Try out some CP designer programs to test your colors out. Look at A TON of examples before committing to any colors as well.
EDIT: I think that the aluminum joysticks look great as well if you don't mind the extra price.

Thanks for the reply Jeff, I have looked at different colors. The colors of led's I can get for the electirc ice buttons are red blue green and yellow, so I will light the buttons with those colors. I realize it is personal preference but I am not the best on color schemes. So I figured I would get some ideas here. My three player Rampage panel has all black sticks, maybe that is telling me something, maybe it's what sticks were around when it was converted... :P

Very new to the hobby, but I always liked have the joystick and button pattern the same for each player. Just looks neater having it all color coordinated.

thanks for the input.
Since all the buttons will be white when the LED's are not on I am thinking a single color joystick may look better.
