Title: Happs Ultimate 4-way
Post by: BLah247 on February 13, 2007, 04:25:07 pm
Have a question on reading the schematic from Happs..

I'm installing this on in a wood control panel and plan to have it only do 4-way.

So I use either 95-1308-00 for wood or 95-1306-00 for metal?

Then do I use 95-1307-00 in place of 95-0267-00 for the 4-way?

Them seems simple enough but when I put it together using the 95-1308-00 spacer and the 95-1307-00 actuator it's not smooth at all with the movement and the actuator only touchs maybe one of the cherry switches.

Oh and oddly enough I broke the c-clip 95-0574-00... anyone know a suitable replacement from a big box retailer?

There's the actual link... the embedded image is hard to read.

Go to Ace hardware I'm sure they will have one that works.

Hmm..did you actually order a 4-Way Ultimate?
I know it has a specific part# compared to the 8-way, and looking at the diagram there are 3 part#'s for the bases so the 4-way base must be different than the 8-way.

I've never had an issue with one not fitting together well.

It should be the 4-way... It came with the 4-way actuator and the base of it looks as if it's groved in a manner to only allow the stick to move in four ways.  Should I maybe use the 95-1306-00 part instead of the 95-1308-00 part?  I think that will just make the joystick shorter though and not affect anything else.
